Our swim season has come to an end!
We finished with 4 wins and 1 loss. Our swimmers made great strides in the pool. From the very first meet to our last swim meet, some swimmers dropped up to 8 seconds in their races!
Our swimmers helped raise funds for a playground being built right here in Milford....Here is a message from Bodie's Place...
The Swim for Bodie event held at the MYC pool on Thursday July22nd, was a HUGE success!!. The MYC Swim Team members swam lap after lap helping to raise over $1,200.00 for Bodie's Place. Their enthusiasm and energy was very contagious so even the parents and friends of the swimmers had a great time. The kids really "Caught the Spark" and we are so so grateful for their participation. A special thank you also to both Lauren Secondi and Lindsay Robillard for helping L.J. organize the event.

Our swim team bathing suit is called GALAXY. You can order the suits through Debbie @ Metro Swim Shop (phone # 860-651-5063). Suit fittings will be on June 14th from 4:00-5:30 pm on the pool deck.
MYC competes in the Connecticut Private Club Swim League(PCSL). Other members of the league include;
- Brownson CC,
- Guilford Racquet and Swim Club,
- Mill River CC,
- New Haven Lawn Club,
- Pine Orchard CC,
- Ridgetop Club, and
- Silver Sands Club.
The PCSL is a sprint league and very low-key, our objective is to see kids learn the basics of competitive swimming and have fun in a team situation. The meets consist of relays and individual events in all four competitive strokes. There is also a diving competition at the start of each meet.
