WEEK 6: November 5 - Daily RESULTS
A stiff breeze blew from WSW and we raced in the lee of Charles Island, which helped those smart enough to get to the sides on the downwind. Stellar performance by Kim Kuzina with the help of coach Blake Mariner. Her phenominal series of 8 "bullets" more than made of the the penalty she paid for missing one day. Thanks to Blake for the excellent chalk talk after racing.
WEEK 5: November 12 - There once was a series that almos wasn't
No Racing again! Ugh.
WEEK 4: November 5 - Daily RESULTS
Winds were light and extremely shifty - 180 degree shifts. Everyone who bundled up, ended up shedding layers just to stay cool. It was a beautiful day! Thanks to Candy and Larry for RC on a difficult day.
WEEK 3: October 29 - Race was cancelled due to bad weather.
Record breaking snowfall! Is our fleet cursed? Everyone make a sacrifice to Poseidon so we may sail undisturbed next week.
WEEK 2: October 22 - Daily RESULTS
It was a perfect racing day! The sun was shining. We were warm. Winds were variable, 5 to 10 kts, starting west and clocking north as the day went on. There were lots of shifts and boats that took note and played them well, made out. Thanks to Larry Welch and Ed Becker for serving on RC. Ed took some great video and we'll try to get it up on the web. We learned that all boats were not created equal. This should even out because our noble J/22 Fleet Captain, Fady Khairallah, will make sure the rotation is fair. Your Fleet Captain, Mark Laser (me) was once again humbled by having written some screwy things into the SI's, which have now be ammended / corrected. Please download the new SI's. Changes are as follows; since there is no way to fairly rank skippers who sail a different number of races, the official daily scoring will be by boat and not by skipper, but your individual results will put up on the web site. Also, the number of races needed for a daily throw out is now 6, because 3 is too little. The original SI's disallowed course changes because it seemed like this would be too difficult for a short handed RC. Ed and Larry proved this was not the case, and the new SI's reflect this. Sail fast and hope to see you next week.

WEEK 1: October 15 - Race was canceled due to rough weather.
The wind was 25 kts with gusts up to 30 kts. It was a great day for windsurfing, but not for our J/22's. Hope we get to see you next week.
