– SOS, Summer O’ Sailing 2017 Registration
Considering how interested people are in each program we are going to adjust the fees to help bring even more people into these programs. No sailing experience required. You must be able to swim, have a life jacket and appropriate clothing. Sailing gloves are also recommended. The class uses J/22 boats with main and jib (22 ft.), they are the excellent boats and appeal to all ages and skill levels. (in fact, some or our top racing crews compete in these boats for a Spring and Fall series). They are also stable platforms to teach beginning non-sailors.
The classes are scheduled to start Wednesday, June 28th at 6:00pm until dark. We will continue every Wednesday night until August 9th for a total of 6 classes for the Adults, and a total of 4 classes for the Junior Adventure. In either case participants must be a member of the club in good standing (A, C, B, etc.)
