The August Rudder is posted . . .
Here we are in August! Some call it the “dog days of summer”, but it’s the time of year to take just a few more days off, have a few more enjoyable swims, boat rides and maybe a refreshing cocktail on the back patio! Before you know it, the kids will be back to school and we will be back to our fall schedule. There is still plenty of sun-shine and things to do at the Club! The junior sailors and swim team have been very active, fishing is starting to heat up, and enrollment in the adult sailing program is at an all time high.
I would like to thank all the members that came out to support the officers at the semi-annual meeting. All of your officers reported in their areas of responsibility that the Club is in good shape and running safely, efficiently, economically sound, and is planning for continued prosperity is in place for the future.
Stay cool and spend a few extra days at MYC this month, you deserve it !
See you all seaside…
