The September Rudder is posted . . .
August is wrapping up with a flurry of activity ranging from the Junior Sailing Banquet which marks the end of another successful program year to the Club Cruise in Essex. The heart of the summer season has come and gone but we have many offerings lined up for late summer and early fall.
Please be sure to give The Rudder a good read to make sure that you do not miss out. This edition of The Rudder focuses on Club protocol, rules and culture. If you get a moment, please re-familiarize yourself with the House Rules which begin on page 60 of the Club Yearbook. These rules have been adopted over the years, by the House Committee and the Board of Directors, to ensure that the Club both complies with state law that controls private clubs and that all members have a welcoming experience.
Many believe that September brings the best weather of the year, so let’s enjoy.
